Phoenix Music Mondays

A huge hello and welcome to the inaugural season of Phoenix Music Mondays based in the hall at Kimichi School. Music has such a wide and varied outreach and here at PMM we plan to seize your imagination with soloists and groups of International and local repute, ending with an immersive orchestral experience.

There are Concerts throughout the season that will whet the appetite no matter your musical taste, and with the kaleidoscope of different genres and performers you are certainly in for a treat.

I would like to welcome all ages to our concerts, but particularly young people and individuals who might never have dipped their toes into the Concert arena. I look forward to having the pleasure of your company throughout the series, and hope that your faith will be rewarded by a musical experience that will stay with you forever”.

Keith Slade – Artist Director, Phoenix Music Mondays.

BEETHOVEN’S 5th SYMPHONY

Our final concert in this incredibly successful series is from Keith’s IMMERSIVE ORCHESTRAL EXPERIENCES (TM)

The evening will start with an instantly engaging 15 minute masterclass from Slade, in which he describes the feelings that Beethoven was seeking to evoke in his Fifth Symphony, illustrated by short excerpts of themes from each of the movements played by various sections of the orchestra.  The orchestra will then set out to thrill the  audience with a truly unique and intimate performance, in which the ticket holders will seated within the orchestra, rather than in a conventional theatre-style layout.
