Kimichi Youth Symphony Orchestra

You’ve made it! We are so excited that you’re interested in signing up to our very first KYSO residential aimed at promoting musical excellence and an unforgettable experience for those talented musicians aged between 11 and 21.

Read on if you want to be part of the only local youth orchestra residential in the West Midlands.

There will be some weekend taster workshops with our wonderful conductor and tutors before a brief audition, with the residential course being held 20th – 23rd August at Bell Heath Outdoor Activity Centre for those who are successful.

Auditions will be held on 5th July at a time and venue that will be sent to you upon application.

At every stage, you will be supported by some of the country’s best instrumentalists and teachers who will guide you through a huge variety of repertoire and range of instruments. There are places available for:

 

Violin
Viola
Cello
Double Bass
Flute
Clarinet
Oboe
Bassoon
Trumpet
Trombone
Tuba
Percussion
Harp
Conducting (limited to 2 spaces)

 

The best way of keeping up to date with all things KYSO is to sign up below and someone will be in contact with you.

Signing up is just you saying “Ooh, yes! I’d like some more information, please!” and so isn’t you committing to anything (that comes later!)
