KIMICHI SCHOOL COVID-19 RESPONSE
With the virus taking a grip on all sections of our society, it became increasingly difficult for school to remain open as even those on EHCP’s and individuals classed as vulnerable were not attending due to self-isolation or other associated reasons.
School closed on 24th March and moved immediately to an interim online learning experience which focussed on the mental wellbeing of our students and their families.
With some activities provided for over the Easter break, school proper began on 20th April with a full time online timetable for all students.
For fee-paying families, a bespoke discount scheme has been offered to those suffering financially as a result of the virus.
Students are actively engaging with school life and those deemed more vulnerable than others are being looked after by a dedicated team.
We are determined that this term not be lost to the memory of COVID-19 but rather help our students embrace another way of learning in a new and unfamiliar world.
If you are a parent, a student, family member or a concerned member of our community, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will get back to you.
